Dubai Police catch motorists disobeying rules to stay off the roads from 8pm to 6am.
Its part of the rules imposed on the public during the national disinfection programme.
Motorists are supposed to stay home between the hours of 8pm and 6am while the sterilisation of public transport and communal areas takes place.
Last night, many motorists who were on the roads during that time saw the radars flash them and reportedly contacted police saying they were driving within speed limits.
Dubai police are reminding us that we need to apply online at move.gov.ae for a permit to be outside during those hours, but that’s only if it’s an emergency or to get medical supplies or food.
Otherwise, you risk getting a hefty fine.
