The Ministry of Health has highlighted its efforts to enhance services, with a focus on women’s healthcare. At a recently held symposium, it addressed issues such as cervical cancer and its prevention through vaccination, the detection of osteoporosis, family planning, depression during and after pregnancy as well as breast cancer. According to statistics, breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women, after lung cancer.
