A new driver training and licensing centre has officially opened in Hatta, bringing essential services closer to residents in the area and surrounding communities.
Developed in partnership with Emirates Driving Institute, the new branch aims to improve access to driver training, testing and licensing without the need to travel to Dubai city or other emirates.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said the centre will offer a full range of services, from opening traffic files to conducting theoretical and practical exams for both motorcycles and light vehicles.
It marks the 27th driver licensing facility approved by the RTA.
The move is part of a broader strategy to enhance public service delivery in remote areas, support regional development, and contribute to Hatta’s growing status as a tourist and lifestyle destination.
The centre operates six days a week, Sunday to Friday, from 8:15 AM to 11:00 PM, with designated breaks for prayer and rest.
On Saturdays, it’s open for registration only, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
