The US is reviewing and looking to strengthen defence cooperation ties with the UAE.
This comes after His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a call from Lloyd James Austin, the US Secretary of Defense, on Tuesday.
The US official also appreciated the UAE’s assistance in transporting US citizens and its allies safely from Afghanistan.
A number of issues of interest were discussed during the call.
