His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has attended a group marriage ceremony for Emirati couples, including members of the Nahyan family, at Qasr Al Hosn Palace in Abu Dhabi.
He witnessed the weddings of Sheikh Hazza bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the daughter of daughter of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed, Sheikha Maryam, and the wedding of Sheikh Zayed bin Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Sheikha Mira, daughter of Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, amongst others.
His Highness congratulated H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
Speaking to the newlyweds, Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the importance of strengthening family cohesion in a way that preserves the authentic values of the UAE, noting that a happy family is a building block of a strong society.
He added that the UAE leadership will continue to support Emirati youth and provide them with all the means that ensure family stability and social welfare.
The couples expressed their gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed and other UAE sheikhs for sharing the special day with them.
