His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi perform Eid Al-Adha prayer.
Performing the Eid sermon, Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri highlighted Eid as a renewed opportunity to remember that the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) gave a sermon over 1,400 years ago in which he recognised human fraternity as one of the key principles of Islam.
He said that the UAE will always lead the charge in promoting such principles and values.
Following the prayer, Sheikh Mansour exchanged greetings with worshippers on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
He then visited the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and asked God to rest his soul in eternal peace.
