Top law enforcement officials, policymakers and security experts have gathered in Dubai for the World Police Summit.
The event tackles pressing global security issues, from cybersecurity and organised crime to artificial intelligence in policing and community safety.
It aims to strengthen international cooperation and promote the sharing of best practices among police forces worldwide.
With more than 300 international speakers on the agenda, organisers are expecting a 25 percent rise in attendance compared to last year.
The summit runs until May 15 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the theme Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing.
