The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has already started with its annual health screenings for workers across labour camps and work sites in the city. Now in its fourth consecutive year, the initiative aims at analysing the social, psycho-social and medical needs of workers across the emirate. It also educates workers on protecting themselves from dehydration and intense heat. Free dental and medical check-ups include measuring blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. Meanwhile, during this campaign the DHA also plans on offering free haircuts and dental kits.
