Abu Dhabi authorities have confirmed early on Sunday that they had contained the fire that broke out at a facility in the Ruwais Industrial Complex due to a drone strike on Tuesday.
In a post on X, the Abu Dhabi Media Office noted that specialised teams have brought the fires under control, with cooling operations currently underway.
The authority also affirmed that no injuries were reported at the incident's location.
The Ruwais Industrial Complex, located in Abu Dhabi's Al Dhafra region, houses the world's fourth-largest single-site oil refinery and is operated by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
