A firefighter died while tackling a blaze in Dubai on Tuesday.
Sgt. Adel Nasser Saleh was part of a team that responded to the fire which struck two warehouses at Dubai Investment Park.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council paid tribute to Saleh.
"Today, Dubai lost Sgt. Adel Nasser Saleh, who was martyred during his call to duty … We ask God for mercy on him and patience and solace to his family," Sheikh Hamdan said on Twitter.

According to Dubai Civil Defence, the blaze, which erupted at 3:43 pm led to the collapse of one of the warehouses.
Teams from four different fire stations were sent to the site, and they brought the fire under control at 5:30 pm.
