A building in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain caught fire after being struck by a drone, the media office of Umm Al Quwain government confirmed on Monday.
Emergency and response teams were deployed to the scene and took the necessary measures to deal with the situation.
There were no reports of injuries.
Authorities have urged residents to stay calm, avoid spreading rumours, and rely only on official sources for updates.
