Etihad Airways has extend the suspension of its operations until 2:00 pm on March 2, Monday, due to the closure of regional airspaces.
In a statement posted on its official social media channels, the airline said passengers "holding Etihad tickets issued on or before February 28, with original travel dates up to March 2, may rebook free of charge onto Etihad-operated flights up to March 15".
Meanwhile, travellers on "cancelled flights may request a full refund".
The airline said it is "working in close coordination with the relevant authorities", adding that the "situation remains dynamic and schedules may change at short notice".
Passengers are urged to check for updates on Etihad's official website, and update their contact details on their bookings.
"We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and appreciate your patience as it may take longer than usual for calls to be answered," the statement added.
