UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has discussed ways to promote efforts to de-escalate the situation in Gaza with his Greek counterpart George Gerapetritis, adding it was necessary for regional stability.
During the meeting in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Abdullah and Greece's Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of swiftly containing the conflict
The two sides also looked into the latest developments in the Western Balkans region and looked at ways to promote security and stability in the region.

The two sides also discussed ways to boost strategic ties and enhance cooperation across various sectors, including economic, trade, investment, renewable energy and food security.
They also reviewed the outcomes of Sheikh Abdullah's working visit to Athens last April and its role in advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
