The Emirates Red Crescent is to carry out development programmes for mothers and children in Aden, who are affected by Yemen’s on-going conflict. According to national news agency WAM, these cover healthcare, education and the supply of water and electricity, to ease their suffering. The projects also support people with special needs, as part of the directives issued by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Honorary Chairwoman of the ERC Authority.
