Dubai is preparing to host elite police teams from across the world to compete in the sixth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge.
Organised by Dubai Police, the global event will run from February 1-5 at the Al Ruwayyah Training City, providing a platform for rapid response units to showcase their skills and innovation while competing for top honours across five intense tactical challenges.
The event has already registered 93 specialized teams from police departments and tactical units worldwide, with more expected as the event approaches.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, emphasized that the UAE SWAT Challenge has become the world’s largest event for special units, with participation growing annually from teams across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
He said that Dubai Police would continue to allocate all necessary resources to ensure the challenge upholds Dubai’s reputation as a leading destination for international events.
This year, competitors will face five specialized challenges: the Tactical Operations Challenge, Assault Challenge, Officer Rescue Competition, High Tower Challenge, and Obstacle Course.
