His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council has approved a number of resolutions aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens.
During the Higher Committee for Development & Citizens Affairs' first meeting of 2024, Sheikh Hamdan also issued directives to finalise the process of allocating land plots to Emirati applicants in Dubai within two months.
He reviewed the key resolutions issued by the committee since its formation in May 2022 and directed members to launch a new phase of innovative projects.
Sheikh Hamdan pointed out that the committee has recorded many achievements in line with the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, including the distribution of over 8,400 land grants, increasing social allocations and other benefits to support citizens to AED 542 million and employing over 17,000 Emiratis in the public and private sectors.
"Caring for our citizens remains the main driver of our aspirations for prosperity, comprehensive development and global status," he said.
