Paid parking zones in Dubai will switch to a two-shift system, from Monday to Saturday, during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the first shift will run from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and the second shift from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am (midnight).
However, multi-storey parking terminals will remain operational 24|7.
The RTA's Customer Happiness Centres will also revise their timings during Ramadan.
From Monday to Thursday, Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar and Al Manara centres will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, while on Fridays, these centres will be operational from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Salik rates/ timings during Ramadan:
- AED 6 during weekday peak hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; AED 4 during weekday off-peak hours from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, and 5:00 pm to 2:00 am.
- Toll-free passage between 2:00 am and 7:00 am
- AED 4 will be charged on Sundays during peak and off-peak hours [with the exception of public holidays and events]
Dubai Metro Timings (Red and Green Lines):
- Monday to Thursday: 5:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight)
- Friday: 5:00 am to 1:00 am (next day)
- Saturday: 5:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight)
- Sunday: 8:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight)
Dubai Tram:
- Monday to Saturday: 6:00 am to 1:00 am (next day)
- Sunday: 9:00 am to 1:00 am (next day)
