Speeding drivers on Dubai’s roads caused 52 accidents in the first nine months of this year, resulting in the death of seven people. Dubai police have released the figure as they launch their annual campaign to educate drivers against speeding. Officials say motorists who don’t abide by speed limits remain one of the leading causes of traffic accidents in the emirate. Over the next few weeks, officers will raise awareness among drivers through various campaigns under this year’s slogan which is ‘Don’t let speeding turn you into a killer’.
