Licensed medical practitioners will now be able to visit patients at home under a new service launched in Dubai. Dubai Healthcare City Authority’s new Home Healthcare Services is expected to release the burden on the emirate’s healthcare expenditure. The initiative is aimed at those who can’t reach out to hospitals and require specialised care at home. Dr. Ramadan Al Blooshi, Managing Director of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority, explains that the patients’ needs were at the core of why they implemented the campaign but there are also financial benefits.
