Three women have been arrested in Dubai for performing unlicensed cosmetic procedures in a residential apartment and endangering the lives of people and violating the country's medical laws.
Dubai Police said officers raided the apartment in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) following a tip-off.
They seized the equipment and medicines used for the procedures.
The women have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action.
Dubai Police urged the public to visit licensed cosmetic service providers and refrain from being swayed by misleading offers that could put their lives at risk.
The authority also urged residents to report such illegal activities via the "Police Eye" service or by dialing 901.
