Dubai International Airport (DXB) has issued an advisory ahead of unstable weather conditions that are expected across the UAE over the next two days.
The travel hub has advised passengers to double-check the latest flight status with their airline, factor in extra time to head to the airport and use the Dubai Metro where possible.
Meanwhile, flydubai said that the adverse weather conditions could impact its flight schedule at DXB.
"We are working hard to minimise any disruption to our passengers' travel schedules and are coordinating with all parties at the airport," the airline's spokesperson added in a statement.
- Flydubai has advised travellers to allow extra time for their journey to the airport and to check the status of their flight on the airline's website.
- Check-in closes 60 minutes before the flight departure time and passengers are advised to aim to arrive at the airport at least four hours before their flight departs.
- Check in online is available between 48 hours and 75 minutes before the flight departure time from Dubai.
- Passengers are advised to update their contact details via the Manage Booking section of flydubai.com.
Emirates Airline has also urged its customers to plan extra travel time to reach the airport and complete their check‑in formalities ahead of arrival for added convenience.
