His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, visited the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), part of Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research, during his official visit to Singapore.
His Highness was briefed on the cutting-edge technologies and solutions adopted by ARTC across fields such as innovation, smart manufacturing and advanced technological systems, to support research and development in diverse sectors, including aerospace, renewable energy, healthcare technology, e-commerce systems and smart transport solutions.
During the visit, His Highness met with Dr. David Low, CEO of the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre, to discuss ways to enhance research and knowledge collaboration between the UAE and Singapore, with a focus on exchanging expertise in advanced technology and remanufacturing across vital sectors.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasised the significance of strengthening strategic partnerships between the UAE and Singapore in the fields of technology, industry and research to foster knowledge exchange and enhance innovation that align with the economic goals of both nations, serving the common interests of their people.
ARTC is an advanced platform built on strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors aimed at transforming scientific research into practical industrial applications. The centre operates under the oversight of Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology, and Research, in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University.
