UAE nationals and their helpers will be tested for COVID-19 free of charge starting next week.
The announcement came under the orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The directive also covers pregnant women, people of determination and residents over the age of 50.
That’s in addition to those who have symptoms of COVID-19 and those who came into contact with confirmed cases.
Those who don’t fall under any of the said categories will have to pay AED370 for a COVID-19 test.
