Abu Dhabi's Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee says pupils in grade 6 (year 7) and above, will continue with online classes.

An official post on social media says the decision has been made in the interests of "students' health and safety" during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pupils in grades 9 to 12 (year 10 to 13), who are due to sit international exams to qualify for university next year, will have the option to attend lessons in person.
