The UAE has confirmed 1,590 new cases of COVID-19 from 125,232 tests.
Another 1,609 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 189,709.
Meanwhile, five more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 679.
A total of 213,231 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 22,843 are currently active.
