COVID-19: 1,161 new cases in UAE from more than 116,000 tests

The UAE has confirmed 1,161 new cases of COVID-19 from 116,083 tests.

Another 1,493 people have recovered, taking the recovery tally to 134,983.

Meanwhile, two more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 505.

A total of 137,310 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 1,822 are currently active.

The Ministry of Health conducts 116,083 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 1,161 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 1,493 recoveries and 2 death cases due to complications. #CommitToWin pic.twitter.com/h8Utjg0zSw
