His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has offered his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on the death of his son.
Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, who died in the UK earlier this week, was laid to rest Wednesday morning at Al Jubail cemetery.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces also received a telephone call from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia offering his condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalid.
Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf reached out to Sharjah's Ruler today to convey his condolences.
Meanwhile local rulers and government officials have also expressed their sympathy to Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi.
