Emergency response teams were quick on the scene after a car caught fire on Dubai's Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road on Monday.
According to Dubai Civil Defence, the incident, which took place opposite Mirdif City Center was reported at 10:21 am.
Firefighters from Al Qusais station arrived on the scene at 10:27 am and brought the blaze under control.
No injuries were reported.

Dubai Police also took to Twitter to warn other motorists about possible tailbacks and delays because of the accident.
