As part of its global roadshow leading up to the BRIDGE Summit 2025, the world’s largest gathering for media, content and entertainment, the BRIDGE team made a major stop in Cairo this week.
The event brought together over 300 influential figures, including top media leaders, creators, editors-in-chief and production companies — to explore the summit’s vision of building a global hub for collaboration in media and culture.
Organisers also showcased the key tracks of the upcoming summit, which will take place in Abu Dhabi from December 8-10.
Cairo’s selection as a Roadshow stop highlights its historic role as a cultural powerhouse in the Arab world and a gateway to Africa’s emerging media markets.
Among those in attendance were cinema icon Yousra and veteran broadcaster Mahmoud Saad.
Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of BRIDGE and Director General of the UAE National Media Office, said Egypt was always central to BRIDGE’s vision, calling it a cornerstone of Arab media influence.
He described the summit as a global platform for creators, investors and policymakers to shape the future of media and culture — not just through spectacle, but through lasting impact.
