The UAE’s first man in space, Hazzaa Al Mansoori will return to the country on Saturday, October 12.
He will be joined by fellow astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi and senior officials from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre on the journey home.
After returning to Earth last week, Hazzaa has been undergoing post-mission medical checkups in Russia, but those tests will be completed on Friday.
During a press conference in Moscow on Wednesday, Hazzaa said that his space journey was only the beginning of much bigger expeditions for the UAE.
He also confirmed that he has completed 16 scientific experiments, six of which were carried out on the International Space Station (ISS).
