Ajman Police have dismissed reports being circulated on social media that cameras are being used to detect traffic violations and issue fines as "rumours".
The authority clarified that the information is not true and reminded the public not to share "fake news".
They reiterated that they will communicate any changes to the traffic system via official channels and reminded that action will be taken against those responsible for circulating "false information".
