Housing loans have been disbursed to 1,347 Emiratis in Abu Dhabi, coinciding with Eid Al Fitr celebrations.
Under the directives of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, ordered the payments that are worth a total of AED2.36 billion.
The first housing package in 2022 forms part of the UAE leadership's commitment to maintaining high living standards as part of tightly-knit, connected communities.
Following the directive, the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority said they had contacted the beneficiaries in order to ensure the process was as efficient and as seamless as possible.
The Authority said they are continually working towards a modern and sustainable housing ecosystem that enhances social stability and also meets Emirati families’ needs, in line with the leadership’s vision.
