The UAE confirmed 987 new cases of COVID-19 from 348,771 tests on Sunday.
Another 1,554 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 702,102.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,038.
A total of 716,381 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 12,241 are currently active.
