The UAE has confirmed 2,084 new cases of COVID-19 from 499,836 tests in the past 24 hours.
Another 1,067 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 778,163.
Five patients have died, taking the total number of fatalities to 2,248.
A total of 847,142 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 66,731 are currently active.
