The UAE confirmed 1,989 new cases of COVID-19 from 230,728 tests on Thursday.
Another 1,960 people have recovered taking the overall tally to 556,549.
Three patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,689.
A total of 576,947 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,709 are currently active.
The Ministry of Health conducts 230,728 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 1,989 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 1,960 recoveries and 3 death cases due to complications. #TogetherWeRecover
