The UAE has confirmed 1,164 new cases of COVID-19 from 227,104 tests in the past 24 hours.
Another 1,394 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 970,753.
One patient has died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,335.
A total of 991,564 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,476 are currently active.
