A gold mine in western Liberia collapsed early Tuesday, leaving two people dead and two more injured.
According to the country's Disaster Management Agency, the mine is located in Grand Cape Mount County.
They added that 14 people, aged between 20 and 28, were at the mine illegally when the incident occurred.
Earlier, the mayor of the county had put the death toll at 60, with another 50 more reported to be missing.
