Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the army to intensify strikes on Lebanon, which occurred as Hezbollah fired around 100 missiles at unevacuated areas in Western Galilee.
This was reported by the Israeli media.
The Israeli army confirmed bombing a military site in Naqoura after identifying a Hezbollah cell, while Israeli sources reported air defences intercepting a drone launched from Lebanon towards Acre.
Israel and Hezbollah have exchanged daily strikes across the border for months, coinciding with the war in Gaza, raising fears of a broader regional conflict.
Israel has threatened a military operation on its northern front, aiming to restore calm on the Lebanon border so that thousands of Israelis can return to the region without fearing missile attacks.
