Bahrain's security and military authorities have initiated emergency response plans and taken necessary field measures after Iran launched attacks on its sites and facilities.
Bahrain's National Communication Centre (NCC) called the attacks a flagrant violation of the country's sovereignty and security, and strongly condemned it.
The NCC described the attacks as a direct threat to its country's security and the safety of its citizens and residents.
It affirmed that Bahrain reserves its right to respond and to take all necessary measures to safeguard its national security and protect its sovereignty, in coordination with its allies and partners.
The NCC added that details related to military aspects will be announced later by the competent authorities, as required by national interest and security considerations.
The Centre urged the community to rely on official sources for information.
