Dubai Airport is trialling new technology that it hopes will reduce immigration queues to just a few seconds. Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, told ARN that the next generation of Smart Gates are already in testing phase. They will use biometric technology to recognise passengers without the need for personal checks, slashing wait times.
