Etihad to resume flights to Khartoum

WAM

Etihad Airways has announced it will resume flights to the capital of Sudan, on July 16.

The Abu-Dhabi based carrier and other UAE airlines suspended operations to Khartoum last month due to security concerns.

The decision to restart services follows a close review of safety and security.

Etihad Flight EY 632 will now depart Abu Dhabi at 9.50am every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, arriving four hours later.

The return service, flight EY 633 will depart at 12.50pm, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 6.55pm.

Emirates Airline resumed flights to the city earlier this week.
