Emirates flights to Brussels have been disrupted on Monday due to industrial action in the European country, the airline has confirmed.
In a statement on its website Emirates said: "Nationwide industrial action will take place in Belgium on 31st March 2025. This will have a significant impact on Brussels (BRU) airport operation and a notice has been issued advising all airlines to cancel departing flights from Brussels. Emirates flights to and from Brussels on 31st March 2025, will be planned as follows:
Emirates flights EK183 and EK184 (Dubai ‑ Brussels ‑ Dubai) have been cancelled.
EK181 31 March DXB‑BRU – Flight will operate on schedule.
EK182 31 March BRU‑DXB – Flight will night stop in BRU and operate at 1200 BRU local time on April 1."
The airline apologised to customers and directed them to contact booking agents or the local Emirates office for rebooking options.
