Tourists continue to spend more money in Dubai than any other place in the world.
Visitors to the emirate shelled out an average of AED 2,031 a day last year, according to Mastercard’s Global Destination Cities Index.
It’s the fourth year in a row that Dubai is topping the list.
Dubai has also been ranked as the fourth most visited city in the world, welcoming nearly 16 million international overnight visitors last year.
Bangkok (22.7 million visitors) heads the overall list of 200 cities, followed by Paris (19.1 million).
