Dubai Chamber of Commerce reports strong start to 2025

WAM

Dubai Chamber of Commerce has reported strong growth across multiple fronts in the first quarter of 2025, reflecting Dubai’s rising status as a global business hub.

Exports and re-exports by chamber members reached AED 86 billion between January and March, a 16.8 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.

The chamber also issued over 204,000 Certificates of Origin, up 7 per cent, and processed goods worth nearly AED 984 million under the ATA Carnet system.

A total of 18,1600 new companies joined the chamber in Q1 2025, while 28 local businesses were supported in expanding into international markets, a 75 per cent jump from last year.

In advocacy work, the chamber reviewed 10 laws and draft laws with business groups, with over half their recommendations adopted. It also launched new business councils for Indonesia and Hungary.

Mediation services also saw a significant rise, handling 45 cases worth AED 7.3 million, more than triple the value seen a year ago, while networking events drew over 1,600 attendees.
