1) The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), through the Migrant Workers Office —
Dubai (MWO Dubai), is pleased to announce the conduct of an inter-agency initiative, the
Bagong Bayani ng Mundo: OFW Serbisyo Caravan in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The
Caravan serves as a one-stop shop campaign to reintroduce participating government
agencies’ various programs and services, designed as a comprehensive outreach program to
provide easy access to in-demand government services, deliver information sessions, and
offer support channels to OFWs and their families.
The following is the schedule of activities vis-a-vis the participating government agencies:
A- August 03, 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Center (9:00AM — 6:00PM)
(No pre-registration is required for the services) In collaboration with the
Philippine Consulate General — Dubai (PCG-Dubai);
Migrant Workers Office — Dubai (MWO Dubai);
Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA Dubai);
Department of Trade and Industry, thru Philippine Trade and Investment Center

2) The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi is pleased to invite the public to participate in the Writing Competition: “What the UAE Means to Me,” a collaborative initiative between Sandooq Al Watan and the UAE Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, in celebration of the Year of the Community.
Participants are encouraged to submit original written works sharing their personal stories, reflections, impressions, and practical experiences of living in the UAE. Entries may explore how the country has shaped their lives, their culture and values, and the spirit of community and coexistence that defines the UAE.
Entries will be accepted until the end of November 2025.
The Embassy encourages all interested participants to seize this opportunity to express their thoughts and contribute to strengthening the bonds of understanding and appreciation among the diverse communities residing in the UAE.
