It could almost feel like it if you give them a call as you watch the fireworks displays in the UAE kick off at 12mn Philippine time in Global Village!
GLOBAL VILLAGE
The fireworks to welcome 2020 in the UAE will be first seen in Global Village at 8pm to coincide with midnight in the Philippines. Followed by Thailand at 9pm; Kyrgyztan at 10pm; India at 10.30pm; Pakistan at 11pm and the UAE at midnight. The final show will be at 1am for Turkey.

The tallest structure in the world will light up with fireworks, animated LED display, matched with the world's longest choreographed fountain show ever at the Dubai Fountain.
ATLANTIS, THE PALM
If a night at the Atlantis resort is a bit too pricey, head to the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk for a good view
BURJ AL ARAB
You can hop on a yacht or book a table in one of their many fancy rests OR just have a picnic at Kite Beach to see it for free
DUBAI FRAME
The architectural landmark in Zabeel Park will be lit up for NYE for the first time with a 3-minute fireworks show and laser display

A fast-rising Pinay singer from Cebu has become the latest Filipino artist featured on a billboard in New York’s iconic Times Square. MRLD, real name Meriel de Jesus, is one of the new ambassadors for Spotify’s EQUAL campaign - their recent commitment to fostering equity for women in music globally – and her face, along with other female artists from around the world, was launched on a billboard in the heart of New York city. Now based in Catbalogan, Western Samar, MRLD was discovered and signed by fellow artist Kean Cipriano, who now heads OC Records.
