UAE Tour to take place in February 2027

The UAE Tour's next two editions are set to take place in February 2027, announced the Abu Dhabi Sports Council on Thursday.

The fifth edition of the UAE Tour Women will take place from February 3 to 6, while the ninth edition of the UAE Tour Men will follow from February 15 to 21. 

The event will be held in collaboration with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and is empowered by AD Ports Group.

Leading female and male cyclists from around the world are set to compete, promising two tours filled with highly competitive racing.

Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said the events "reflect the great confidence placed in the country to host major international sporting events".

"The two tours are key highlights on the UCI calendar and embody the UAE’s leadership in supporting and developing cycling at both professional and community levels," he added. 

He further noted that the continued success of the UAE Tour reflects the council's "commitment to establishing cycling as an integral part of a healthy lifestyle within the community, while further strengthening the sports and tourism sectors".
