Sharjah Police have seized 11 cars after their drivers were caught performing stunts and driving recklessly in the rain, endangering their lives and those of other road users.
Another 84 vehicles were also cited for violations at the same location.
Penalties for reckless driving include fines of AED 2,000 as well as 23 black points, and the vehicle being impounded for 60 days
Sharjah Police warned motorists to adhere to traffic laws, and asked the public to report offences.
