The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has intensified its flood relief efforts in Libya.
The UAE aid organisation is delivering humanitarian support in the country's most affected areas, especially in the eastern region, in the form of food and medical supplies and shelter materials.
An ERC delegation is on the ground to assess the situation and provide aid through shipments via its air bridge.
Hammoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, Acting Secretary-General of ERC, said that in the coming days there will be a major expansion of its relief programmes in Libya.
