Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, the Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai, has reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to Palestinians.
Following a series of meetings with senior Israeli officials, the Minister reiterated the importance of ensuring that Palestinians have the opportunity to benefit from the recently signed UAE-Israel accord.
Al Hashimy repeated the UAE’s commitment to a two-state solution.
She also discussed collaborating in the fight against the COVID-19 virus with the Israeli Minister for Regional Cooperation, Ofir Akunis, as well as other bilateral projects.
Al Hashimy then held talks with Eli Cohen, the Israeli Minister of Intelligence.
They pledged to reinforce relations between the UAE and Israel to the benefit of both countries.
Cohen confirmed that the construction of Israel's pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 is moving forward as planned.
